Who We Are

We are the alumni of the professional performance drill team originally founded as The King’s Alley Royal Honor Guard to promote the King’s Alley Shopping Center in Waikiki, Hawaii.

Kings Alley Shopping Center

In 1972, the King’s Alley Shopping Center opened in Waikiki. Featuring vintage style architecture reminiscent of the Hawaiian Monarchy era, visitors enjoyed a unique turn-of-the century shopping experience.

Exclusive Attraction

The King’s Alley Royal Honor Guard highlighted the old-world theme of the mall. Dressed in uniforms similar to the original Hawaiian Palace Guards, they performed military drills with colonial age rifles that were showcased during nightly Changing of the Guard ceremonies.

As a Kings Guard the bonds we formed went beyond the drill fields and performance stages. The Kings Guard Alumni Association is an opportunity to reunite with old friends, connect to  other generations, preserve our history, and cultivate the legacy weÊ»ve built together.

Hailing all alumni! We welcome you to join us in perpetuating the Pride-

"Once a Kings Guard, Always a Kings Guard".
