KINGS GUARD
OUR ESTABLISHMENT
The Kings Guard Alumni Association originally founded in 2007 and continues to seek out all members from every generation to perpetuate the legacy of the guard in 2025. The main purpose of the association is to facilitate forgoing friendships and preserve any historic accomplishments while being employed and performing at Kings Alley/ Kings Village as a Kings Alley Honor Guard/ Guard from 1972-2014
Our Mission
To memorialize, preserve, and share the contributions of all who’ve served as a King’s Alley Royal Honor Guard, having represented the King’s Alley Shopping Center, the state of Hawaii, and Hawaii drill origins.We hope to connect all alumni from the eight Generations of our 42-year history.(A "Guard" is a person that has been acknowledged by the Command Staff, to have performed in the shopping complex, in the official guard uniform, and was employed by the Merchants Trust Association as a Guard

GUARD INFORMATION
The King’s Guard Alumni Association was originally founded in 2007 and continues to connect with members of every Generation.The eight Generations correlate to the sequential order of the eight leaders of the King’s Guard.The unit’s title evolved along with changes to the shopping center’s management-The King’s Alley Royal Honor Guard, The King’s Alley Guard, the King’s Guard of King’s Village, and eventually the King’s Guard, these titles identify the same entity spanning eight Generations.
REQUIREMENTS
For the Alumni Association purposes, a “Guard” is defined as a person that-
1. is recognized as a King’s Guard by the Command Staff of that Generation,
2. has performed in the shopping complex wearing an official Guard uniform, and
3. was employed by the King’s Alley Merchant’s Trust Association as a Guard.
